When I was in 5th grade, I won an opportunity to “be” in the circus. I was part of a “clown parade” and we traipsed through the stage smiling and laughing while the professional clowns did the “heavy lifting” of crowd pleasing. It was so much fun. I still get excited when the circus comes to town!
