Of all the theme parks I’ve visited in my lifetime, SeaWorld is my favorite. Perhaps it is because I love learning new things in the midst of having a blast. Perhaps it’s because the “great outdoors” really is great. And perhaps it’s because our family can go there again and again and always see something new.
I am in awe of the marine life celebrated there and marvel at the brave and knowledgeable trainers. I smile and laugh at the street performers (especially the Longshoremen). I applaud the park’s commitment to conservation and animal rescue. And every time I visit, I do indeed have a “whale of a day!”
Other local attractions are on our official family “to do” (and “done again and again”) list, as well! Theme parks, hotel stays, historical events, aviation-themed activities, educational and/or homeschool meet-ups, animal events, nature/hiking/orienteering opportunities, …you name it! Central Florida is bursting with things to do, and we do our part to check out as many as possible. (And try as many eateries in the area, as well!)
On occasion I am given tickets to attend shows, invites to eat at restaurants, or I’m asked to go to events or stay at hotels. In return I usually tweet/blog/post about these things. I blog/post about non-sponsored events/restaurants/hotels as well. In any case, all statements are completely my opinions. It’s the same for products. Occasionally I’m given something to review. If it’s something I, or my family enjoy, I write/post about it. I do that for non-sponsored products, too.
As a family we volunteer… a lot… and encourage others to participate either physically or through social media promotion.
